Extra fabric in the mane area allows the horse to move his head up and down without placing stress on his head, face or mane. This has been added to the Slinky, Slinky II, Snuggy and Snuggy II.

In the March '98 issue of "Horse and Rider", their product testers gave our Slinky II Elite high marks in Hair Coat Management: Equine Comfort: and Ease of Use. One piece construction. Added fabric fullness over the mane, so there is little to no stress placed on the mane as in all other brands. Braids are kept neater. The fabric unfolds instead of having to stretch. Jacket zipper opens garment completely, so nothing needs to go over the head. It has a wide belly wrap and leg straps. It also has a cut away tail covering to prevent hair loss due to rubbing but still allows horse to lift tail.

Closed front, Belly Wrap and Tail cap. Hood attaches with Velcro, top and sides, so the hood stays in place. Designed to have no pull on face when the head is fully extended, so it will never come up over the head.

then the Lined Slinky II Elite is what you need.
Looks like the Slinky II but is lined with 100 weight Fleece
to give just the added warmth that your horse needs.

The Slinky Mane Tamer will lay the mane flat and hold the bands and braids overnight. It has a full opening zipper, so nothing needs go over the head and a wide elastic girth with a buckle.

The Slinky can be worn as a lightweight hood or under a blanket to protect the shoulders and mane.The added fabric fullness insures no stress placed on mane. Holds braids in place neater. It has a 32" heavy nylon zipper that allows for easy on and off. It has a panel that goes between the front legs to prevent slipping.

The Slinky Sheet has a soft Fleece collar, girth strap and leg straps. Matching Hood does not have a zipper. It pulls over the head and fastens with Velcro at the withers. The Slinky Sheet may be used by itself or with the Slinky, Slinky Mane Tamer, or the Slinky Hood.
Note:The Slinky Hood cannot be used without the Sheet
